But there is a partial list of paperwork that you will need to fill up, for a Do It Yourself Divorce. Each state has its own document requirements. So you should check with your County Clerk the required Do It Yourself Divorce Forms. You can also download your own state's Do It Yourself Divorce Form from internet.
There are some basic forms needed for a Do It Yourself Divorce. You are required to fill the Petition for Divorce which gives the court an authority over your divorce case. A Financial Affidavit Form is also needed to fill up Your Do It Yourself Divorce Form. It puts the financial agreements before the Court. The Notice of Hearing is a form wherein the judge sets a date for hearing the divorce case.
Answer and Affidavit Form allows your spouse to be not present at the hearing, if he acknowledges the validity of the Do It Yourself Divorce. Before filling up your Do It Yourself Divorce Form, you can ask the Court Clerk if this is possible in your state and where you can get the other forms from. Certificate of Corroborating Witness Form establishes that you have resided in that state, long enough to qualify for a divorce in that state.

If you think a Do It Yourself Divorce would be appropriate in your situation, ask the family Court Clerk in your jurisdiction for a specific list of documents, which are required for your District. You can then get the State Do It Yourself Divorce Form from any office supply store. Once you have all the forms, plan out filling up your Do It Yourself Divorce Forms carefully.
